We’re not exactly early risers but love to get up early once in a while to indulge in a hearty breakfast. It is one meal during the day where you can eat guilt free coz you know the body is working in overdrive that early. As they say, breakfast calories don’t count 😛
Whenever we have friends and family visiting us in Dubai, a drive along the Palm Jumeirah is a must which resulted us in spotting Revo Cafe located in Anantara Resort on the outer crescent. We decided to hit them up for brekkie; we thought it would be good but it was even better ya’ll.

What to expect | Equal parts of food and peace. While the indoor area promises a funky vibrant decor with patchwork and wooden details, the outside verandah is much calmer with beautiful views.
What to eat | Their breakfast menu is pretty simple consisting of classics done right. While you wait for the food start by nibbling on their Blueberry or Peanut butter muffin while sipping on the fresh Detox or Balancing juice selection.
The egg section is pretty extravagant and you can have them poached, fried or baked to your liking. If you’ve worked up a bit of an appetite then order the Full English breakfast complete with your choice of eggs, sausages, bacon, hash brown, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, baked beans and sour dough toast…phew! It’s a great way to kick start the day.
Personally I was most excited to try the Waffles which was better than I had hoped. Topped with lavender honey, yoghurt and candied nuts, how can you go wrong with this one. Their Brioche French Toast is one dish we would return for. Served with caramelized banana, mascarpone and candied nuts, one bite of this and we were transported straight to heaven 😉 Highly recommended!
Overall we were pretty impressed with everything we tried. Honestly the food is good and the surroundings so calm, we recommend you bookmark them for the next time you are taking a drive along the Palm. **See what we did there, it rhymes! 😀
