My friend recently invited me over to check out the Steam and Sauna services at her fitness club located in Burjuman. After a good two hours of relaxation, we had managed to build up quite an appetite and made our way to the food court. The Wrapchic outlet certainly appealed to us with their promise of being an Indian burrito company.
They have put in a whole lot of thought to bring together two cuisines together and it really shows through their menu. If you are in the mood for a hearty meal that’s quick yet filling, you should definitely try this place out.
Get Set Gobble
The menu comprises of Mexican favourites like Burritos, Wraps, Rice bowls and Quesadilla filled with quintessential Indian fillings like Chicken Mughlai, Chole Masala, Mutton Hyderabadi and more.
We tried their Prawn Amristari wrap with spiced prawns doused in a tikka sauce rolled up with lettuce, cabbage and tomatoes. It was a messy yet delicious eat. You don’t want to miss the Mexican soft drink called Jarritos that are slightly more carbonated in comparison to regular colas. We tried the Cola flavour to begin with and will definitely be going back to try the remaining three flavours.
You can also try out the Paneer Masala Burrito served with a stuffing of rice, beans and salad along with a side of sour cream, guacamole and salsa. These are stuffed generously and are humongous to say the least.
No Mexican meal is complete without an order of nachos. The Wrapchos are served in a take away box with loads of yummy cheese sauce. The salsa dip didn’t impress us much. If you are up for some nostalgia we recommend you try their Wraposa. These triangle shaped stuffed breads are a walk down memory lane with their aloo and keema filling grilled just the way your mama used to make it on the stove top.
